With the China launch expected in the coming months, here's hoping Diablo: Immortal makes its worldwide debut soon after.Welcome back to Day 2 of BlizzConline 2021, folks - or as some of us at the office prefer to call it, DiabloCon. Plus, loot wise it didn't look the gear and skill system was designed around microtransactions. The controls at the time worked well, and the blend of shared-world co-op and instanced dungeons made sense. Getting to check out Diablo: Immortal was also cool, especially as a nice "yes, and" for those of us that don't play mobile games. At BlizzCon 2019 getting to play Diablo IV was - simply put - amazing. That was not the case of course, the reveal was a problem with messaging. Of course Diablo: Immortal will be tied by many to its BlizzCon 2018 reveal, where in lieu of the following year's Diablo IV announcement - it was an announcement that left many puzzled as to why the return of Diablo would arrive in mobile-form. Though we did notice that some of the footage dates back to the original reveal. The overall art-style is very much in line with Diablo III, but even as a mobile title it looks clean and crisp and really fluid. In terms of the game itself this latest trailer does look pretty impressive - showcasing highly polished and detailed visuals. As such the trailer accompanies news that pre-registration for Diablo: Immortal is now open in China - with an iOS and Android release on the cards. With the new gameplay trailer making its debut as part of the ChinaJoy 2020 event.
